TVE Health Education and Wellness Corporation is a nonprofit serving older adults in South DeKalb and metro Atlanta with fall prevention, mobility, and mental wellness programs built for our community.
Get Involved Our ProgramsA single fall can change everything for an older adult: independence, confidence, and health. Many falls are preventable. We bring practical education, movement, and support directly to African American seniors and the families who care for them, so they can keep living the lives they choose.
Our founders have served this community from Candler Road since 2004 and know its seniors, families, churches, and neighborhoods.
We focus on what keeps people out of the hospital: strength, balance, safe homes, and early attention to mental health.
Isolation is a health risk. Our programs are as much about friendship and belonging as about exercise.
Free and low-cost programs designed for older adults, at every ability level.
Education sessions on fall risks, medications, footwear, and vision, plus simple home-safety checklists families can use right away.
Gentle, guided movement and balance classes that build confidence getting up, getting around, and staying active.
Conversations and support groups addressing loneliness, grief, stress, and memory, in a setting that feels safe and familiar.
Practical guidance for the sons, daughters, and spouses helping a loved one age safely at home.
This work happens with the community, not just for it.
